Being back in an in person school environment again has brought up some anxieties for me. Walking into new spaces, meeting new people, and trying to figure out where you fit can feel overwhelming at times.

But something good has come from it too.

Over time I’ve started meeting some really great people. Some classmates have been incredibly kind and helpful as I’ve adjusted to being in this environment again. Small moments of encouragement or simple conversations have made a bigger difference than they probably realize.

What I’ve appreciated most is that the friendships have grown naturally. It didn’t feel forced or rushed. It just happened through shared classes, conversations, and spending time around people who seem genuinely supportive.

Recently I even spent time with some friends outside of school, which was something I didn’t expect when the year first started. It reminded me that stepping into new environments can lead to connections you never planned on.

Even though being back in an in person setting has its challenges, I’m grateful for the people who have helped make the transition easier. Good friends have a way of making unfamiliar places start to feel more comfortable.
